Decided to cook while reciting the events of Week 42.
Filipino Chicken Adobo Recipe
Ingredients For 6 servings:
2 tbs vegetable oil
1 tbs Garlic Powder
1 tbs Pepper
2 Bay leaf
3 Lbs of chicken (bone or boneless)
1 Medium onion (quartered and sliced)
4 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1/3 vinger (white)
2/3 Soy Sauce
Step one:
In a large skillet set to med-high, heat the vegetable oil the cook the chicken on both sides till golden brown. Remove when done
Step two:
Cook both onions and garlic for 5 min or soften
Step three:
Pour the soy sauce and vinegar with the onions and garlic. Add the garlic powder, (black) Pepper, and bay leaves. Stir to mix the sauce.
Step Four:
Add the cooked chicken into the sauce and stir occasionally till its boiling (you may add water to taste). once it is boiling, reduce the heat to simmer and cover it. Once the chicken is soften, serve with with Rice. Happy cooking 😀
